Oakmore Construction Ltd were appointed by Henry Boot Developments Ltd to carry out a refurbishment of 8,000ft 2 office space, main entrance and stair circulation. The Poynt building occupies a prime city centre location and works were completed in 7 weeks.
The refurbishment was carried out with minimal design information and Oakmore worked closely with the client to ensure their budget was focused on works that would add investment value.
The site has recently been sold to a institutional investment business. The client was very pleased with the collaborative style of project management.This was another successful project in terms of health and safety compliance, quality of finishes, programme and cost certainty.
Oakmore Construction Ltd carried out the alteration and refurbishment of Asket Croft, Leeds in 2 phases.
Asket Croft is part of the Leeds and York Mental Health PFI estate and was converted from an elderly persons in-patient facility to an outpatient assessment and in patient rehabilitation and recovery facility.
Phase 1 works were £100,000 in value and phase 2 was £400,000, carried out in 8 and 15 weeks respectively. Phase 1 was secured and open competition and phase 2 was negotiated based on the successful delivery and value added by the Oakmore team.
The client was particularly pleased with the finished quality of the building, cost and programme management. Both phases were delivered on time, on budget with zero snags at completion.
The Carriage Hall development was a significant investment for the Perkins Family, having developed their award winning Perkins Restaurant at Plumtree, Nottingham the next step was their purchase and re-development of the Carriagehall Building to create a beautiful contemporary venue for events and weddings.
Oakmore secured the project because the client wanted a customer focused contractor who would invest as much passion for their development as they had themselves, but provide this in a competitive and quality driven framework.
Oakmore delivered on all of these aspects and provided a value added service.
Oakmore Construction Ltd are currently working on this project to provide 6 private and high quality dwellings at the former Station Hotel Kegworth for Foxhill Developments.
The project value is £800,000 and is a phased completion, with the first 3 plots in the existing building due for completion end September 2015 and 3 new build plots to be completed mid-November 2015.
The dwellings are being constructed to a high specification with cutting edge kitchen and bathroom design, set in a stunning rural location.
